CONNAH’S KNOCKED OFF TOP BY BARRY

BARRY Town United are back on top of the JD Cymru Premier table after a 2-0 home win over Airbus UK Broughton – while Connah’s Quay Nomads were held at Aberystwyth Town.
Barry led after they were awarded a penalty, which Kayne McLaggon netted on 57 minutes, his seventh goal of the campaign.
The Wingmakers almost levelled on 75 minutes but were denied by the bar and, after Evan Press also struck the woodwork for Barry, Drew Fahiya made the points safe in added time.
That result takes Gavin Chesterfield’s side one point above Connah’s Quay ...
