WES THOMAS rescued a point for Notts County with his second successive brace after a battle of two in-form sides appeared to be heading Hartlepool’s way.
Both managers agreed the visitors’ game-plan of pressing Notts in their own half worked a treat as Gavan Holohan and Luke James rocked Meadow Lane with first-half goals.
