IN-FORM Basford United moved to within touching distance of the top of the table with an efficent performance at a very wet Skuna Stadium.
The visitors from Robin Hood’s own county had the majority of possession in the opening half.
Their very effective striker Nat Waton put them ahead in the 13th minute when his shot took a deflection to totally wrong foot Greg Hartley between the Colls sticks.
