MARINE held on to win a seven-goal thriller against Ramsbottom.
Brett Mbalanda scored twice in the opening ten minutes to give his side a comfortable lead.
That lead was cut by Nic Evangelinos but then extended to 4-1 by Anthony Miley and Niall Cummins.
Their goals incredibly weren’t the end of the first half scoring, as Shamal George fumbled a corner into his own net just before the break.
Ramsbottom kept coming in a slightly more lowkey second half, and made it 4-3 to give themselves a chance of a point.
