CURTIS WOODHOUSE’S Gainsborough deservedly won a high-scoring FA Trophy clash at Tamworth.
The visitors were 2-0 up inside ten minutes, Brodie Litchfield hitting a sweet shot into the corner of the net. Then Curtis Morrison slotted in at the far post as the Lambs failed to deal with a ball in.
Tamworth had a goal back on 17 minutes as Rhys Hoenes was brought down by Lloyd Allinson after latching onto a fine pass from Jordan Clement. Hoenes got up to convert from the spot.
