NEWCASTLE’S poor home form continued as they went down to visitors Spalding United.
After a drab first half the visitors took the lead through Lewis Brownbill, but Castle were level within four minutes when Jack Van Der Laan slotted home after the visiting keeper spilled a shot from Charlie Scott.
The visitors regained the lead from a penalty after 72 minutes through Jamie Jackson, and Castle were unable to break down their opponents on another disappointing day.
