A PENALTY in the sixth minute of time added on gave Atherton an unexpected lifeline and a vital point against Buxton.
A match-up of the 19th and 20th in the table saw the Derbyshire outfit dominate first half possession.
However they didn’t turn their superiority into goals. They should have opened the scoring on 23 minutes but somehow the Colls defence managed to squeak the ball clear after an almighty scramble in their penalty box.
