WORTHING came back from an early two-goal deficit to clinch victory at struggling Wingate and edge towards the play-off places.
Wingate’s second defeat of the week pushed them to the brink of the relegation places and was a huge disappointment after they began the game with great energy.
The Blues took a deserved lead in the 15th minutes.
Oluwaseun Akinsanya’s shot was deflected into the path of Charlie Ruff, who controlled the ball and finished into the far corner.
