WILLIAM Harris’ winner ten minutes from time saw Colne battle their way to a hard-fought win in an entertaining match with Mossley.
Both sides were determined to play good football despite the tricky conditions, making for a game well worth watching.
That was despite a lack of goals in the first half, with neither team short of attacking intent thanks to numerous goal-scoring opportunities created through the contest.
