SUTTON Coldfield’s promising runs in FA competitions is still not transferring to league form after losing to Frickley Athletic.
Sutton went behind on nine minutes when Jonathan Margetts hit a volley from the edge of the box that left Lewis Gwilliams helpless, with the same man getting his second from the penalty spot after a wild Reece Leek tackle.
Sutton reduced the deficit on the stroke of halftime when Leek hit a shot through a melee of players into the far corner.
