STAINES HIT SIX TO MOVE OFF THE FOOT

STAINES Town romped to an unexpected 6-1 triumph over Chalfont St Peter to move out of the relegation zone as doubles from Dara Dada-Anite and Klajdi Cani blew the visitors away.
Arif Hattabi and Isaac Thompson also scored to see the hosts move off bottom spot against a team sat ninth and with play-off aspirations themselves.
The result proved the shock of the weekend in the division, representing Staines’ maiden victory of the season to radically alter the dynamic of the standings at the bottom of the table.
