THE END OF AN ERA? Maidenhead United are considering moving out of their historic York Road home

YORK ROAD – acknowledged by the Football Association and FIFA as the oldest continuously-used senior association football ground in the world by the same club – is in danger of becoming just a memory after Maidenhead United revealed this week they are pursuing the possibility of relocating.
The National League side say they are working with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to explore the potential of switching to nearby Braywick Park in the town.
