ADAM ENDS HIS DROUGHT TO KEEP LYNN IN TOP SPOT

STRIKER Adam Marriott ended a two-game goal drought to keep King’s Lynn Town top of the National League North.
Marriott struck the winner and his 22nd goal of the campaign 17 minutes from time to sink Gateshead.
The pedestrian hosts were caught napping at the back after eight minutes, Dominic Tear forcing Lynn stopper Alex Street into an excellent save with his body.
Marriott shot wide with an effort after 14 minutes while Chris Henderson’s pull-back was unfortunately behind the frontman when he burst into the box seven minutes later.
