AS THE fog descended in the second half, referee Cooke was forced to abandon the game between Matlock Town and Grantham Town, with the result in the balance.
At the time of the stoppage, Matlock Town were 2-1 up at the South Kesteven Sports Stadium and will be frustrated that they didn’t get the chance to register a valuable away victory.
The first half had seen three goals with the home side taking the lead after 16 minutes, against the run of play.
