CLITHEROE made it six league wins on the trot as they finally made their one-man advantage tell against Ossett. Clitheroe took the lead from a Connor Gaul penalty which also saw Ossett skipper James Knowles sent off.
Clitheroe huffed and puffed in the second half, but after 70 minutes everything clicked. Gaul scored his second from a mazy run and on 80 minutes substitute Ollie Stirzaker thumped home a great header from a Gaul corner before Tom Greaves pulled one back for Ossett from close range.
