MARINE beat Kendal Town to move up to third in the league.
Home captain Niall Cummins struck the crossbar just seconds into the affair, before giving his side the lead.
Brett Mbalanda doubled Marine’s lead after 16 minutes from close range after some intense home pressure.
Kendal Town stopper Morgan Bacon was forced into several good saves to prevent his former side from extending that lead.
But Cummins did so from the penalty spot 72 minutes into the game.
Christian Sloan pulled one back for the visitors ...
