BELPER Town’s unbeaten league record stretching back to March finally came to an end against Leek Town.
It was a tight game between evenly matched teams and it was the visitors who took the lead on 29 minutes when Joshua Agbozo scored from close range.
Lewis Short extended Leek’s lead on 48 minutes with an accurate finish into the far corner.
The Nailers tried everything they could to get back in the game but the closest they came was a Charlie Dawes snap shot that brought a smart save from Danny Roberts.
