A GAME which had lots of incident, mostly of the wrong sort, ended in a stalemate.
Having used all of their substitutes Salisbury were reduced to ten men when man-of-thematch Gerard Benfield was injured, and shortly before the end it became ten versus nine as Salisbury’s Dan Fitchett and Blackfield’s Josh Harfield were dismissed following a headbutting incident.
What little football there was saw the visitors go close on 17 minutes when Harfield’s free-kick was well-saved by Benfield.
