■ IN AN absorbing game the points were shared as third played fourth in a pulsating encounter.
Clitheroe dominated the first half and Connor Gaul opened the scoring from the penalty spot after Owen Watkinson had been fouled.
Marine should have equalised on the half-hour but Connor King made an astonishing point-blank save before Brett Mblanda incredibly levered the ball over the bar from three yards out from the resulting corner.
