STALYBRIDGE Celtic’s seven-match unbeaten run came crashing to a halt as Mickleover took advantage of individual mistakes to claim all three points in a game that featured an erroneous red card.
Celtic keeper Alex Fojticek was dismissed when he gave away a late penalty, but under the new double jeopardy rule he should only have been yellow-carded.
Stuart Beavon blasted the resultant spot-kick high over the bar but the damage had already been done.
