■ PONTEFRACT Collieries extended their unbeaten run to eight games and moved up to fourth following victory over Dunston at The UTS Stadium.
The visitors took the lead through Connor Smythe who converted from the penalty spot on 14 minutes. Things went from bad to worse as the hosts had Luke Page sent off for a straight red card on 24 minutes.
Chris Swailes’ side had chances to level; Dunston forward Mark Fitzpartrick clipped the outside of the post as Scott Heslop unselfishly squared the ball following a superb run.
