■ A GAME of few chances came alive in the last 15 minutes as Droylsden and City of Liverpool gained a point in a hard-fought draw.
Danny Wilkins put Droylsden ahead with 13 minutes left, clinically finishing Domaine Rouse’s cross.
But the visitors equalised with four minutes to go, Jamie McDonald striking low in the bottom corner after John McGrath centred.
Both teams battled hard but chances were few and far between, Elliot Nevitt’s effort well saved by Thompson early on while Jack Kay was put through only to poke wide.
