BEDFORD can consider themselves unlucky not to at least glean a point after losing at home to Berkhamsted.
The Eagles started well when Jake Newman, making his debut, slotted the ball past Xavier Comas Leon, after the keeper had denied his first attempt.
But Alex Witham equalised for Berkhamsted in the 31st minute with a looping header.
