ABINGDON TOWN chairman Brian Kirk believes one of the club’s darkest hours can inspire a positive new beginning as they search for a new manager.
The Hellenic League Division One East Abbots made national headlines last weekend after they refused to continue their league match against local rivals Abingdon United when losing 8-0 at half-time.
Manager Tranell Richardson announced his resignation the next day on Twitter explaining how working at the club had become “unbearable”.
