RIP to Chris, the ideal role model

Everyone at NLP Towers were deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Chris Barker this week at the age of 39.
After a glittering 17-year professional career, ‘Barks’, as he was affectionately known, earned respect wherever he went, not least at Aldershot Town where he won two Player of the Year awards and took over the caretaker manager’s reins – perhaps against his will – following the departure of Andy Scott.
