Hendon shake off Blues

HENDON made a mockery of their lowly league position to comfortable beat Met Police.
Hendon took an early lead after a long clearance by Rihards Matrevics saw Joe White turn Oliver Robinson and beat Rhys Forster to the ball and poke home.
The home side’s first attempt to level was denied by the fingers of Matrevics after Luke Robertson latched onto a cross by Alex Fisher.
Hendon showed their strength from set-pieces, Tom Smith doing well to head the ball on from a corner to Eddie Oshodi, who nodded over Forster.
