Pembo now has time to in-Spire

CONGRATULATIONS to John Pemberton for starting his caretaker reign in charge of Chesterfield with a much-needed win over an in-form Sutton United last weekend.
Stability and consistency is the key, as they say, and with the Spireites still at the wrong end of the National League table, Pemberton must be given time to implement his own ideas and hopefully lift the mood around the place.
Thankfully for John, time is something he may just have with the decision on naming the new manager likely to be made by the club’s perspective new owners next month.
I, for one, wish John every success...
