DORKING Wanderers paid tribute to their chief scout Martin Beard with a minute silence ahead of yesterday’s fixture with Billericay Town following his sudden passing on Friday.
Wanderers tweeted: “The club are devastated to announce that our current chief scout, ex-captain and assistant manager Martin Beard has passed away suddenly today aged just 43. “Martin leaves behind his wife and young family and all of our thoughts are with them at this time.
