BRICKNELL BUILDS THE BASE FOR TOWNERS

ENFIELD Town took the derby day spoils in their 1,000th match thanks to Billy Bricknell’s flying start and second-half winner at Theobalds Lane.
Cheshunt twice came from a goal down in the first-half to ensure the sides went into the break level, however Bricknell’s strike proved decisive.
The Towners got off to a flying start as they took the lead after just 30 seconds – the ball coming off a Cheshunt defender and falling kindly for Bricknell in the box who slotted home.
