Late show keeps Sports in the hunt

PETERBOROUGH SPORTS made their first visit to the Banbury Plant Hire Stadium looking to get back to winning ways and ran out worthy winners.
Banbury’s first chance came when Ravi Shamsi tried to lob Lewis Moat, but the goalkeeper managed to grab the ball out of the air. Just under 10 minutes later, Banbury weren’t far away when Pablo Haysham’s shot was just wide of the post.
Peterborough came close to opening the scoring after 53 minutes when Dion Sembie-Ferris was brilliantly saved by Banbury keeper Jack Harding.
