JUST one goal was the difference as Alvechurch fell to their third consecutive defeat with Hednesford picking up three points.
Following the postponement of their midweek game against Kings Langley, Alvechurch knew that they needed to get some points on the board against The Pitmen.
The first half saw few chances with Hednesford creating the first real opportunity of the game when Elliot Hodge fired over the bar from a tight angle.
