OXFORD CITY say they had no idea that star defender Finn Tapp had planned to enter the Love Island villa.
The 20-year-old was due to be in the Hoops starting line-up to face Braintree Town in National League South yesterday but instead became the ITV2 reality show’s newest contestant when hitting our screens on Wednesday.
Despite being a contracted player at the club, Tapp followed the show’s protocol and flew out to South Africa in secret on Tuesday, alongside Connagh Howard, 27.
