FIVE-STAR LANDERS STUNS THE EAGLES

THERE was a nine-goal thriller at The Eyrie as Henry Landers scored five to inspire North Leigh to a 5-4 victory at Bedford Town in the Southern League Central Division.
The first goal came inside the opening four minutes when Dan Walker’s sweet left-footed strike gave Bedford the lead.
But North Leigh quickly turned the match in their favour following Landers’ nine-minute hat-trick to put the visitors 3-1 in front.
Chances came and went for Bedford in the first half before Walker bagged his second on 48 minutes.
