NORTHERN LEAGUE
STOCKTON Town took a huge step towards the title with a 2-0 win at Shildon.
The Anchors had lost only once in the league, conceding just 13 goals in 23 outings.
And an 11th win from their last 12 league games ended Shildon’s own unbeaten run.
Billy Greulich-Smith had a penalty saved by Town keeper Lee Roberts before Fred Woodhouse scored the opener.
