Mike Wilde and Michael Bakare both filled their boots with hat-tricks against the JD Cymru South visitors while skipper George Horan and Jamie Insall completed the rout.
Holders The New Saints, who beat the Nomads in last season’s final to lift the trophy for a seventh time, are still on for number eight after cruising past Aberystwyth Town 4-0 at Park Hall.
