WORKINGTON AFC produced a battling performance to beat Prescot Cables at the IP Truckparts Stadium.
The visitors took the lead on 26 minutes when Connor Tinnion ran beyond the back four to fire home under Ollie Taylor. Both teams then fought out a war of attrition as the home side battled to get back into the game and thought they had equalised on 42 minutes.
