FOLKESTONE missed the chance to close the gap on leaders Worthing when Carshalton came out on top, thanks to Paris Hamilton- Downes’ penalty, Daniel Pappoe and Ola Sogbanmu.
While teenage sub Tyler Sterling pulled a goal back with a memorable late first senior strike.
Hami lton-Downes opened the scoring with his 32nd minute spotkick after Ricky Korboa was bundled over by Ronnie Dolan.
