LEEK TOWN made the most of their game in hand to extend their lead at the top of the table to eight points.
In truth, the home side were dominant from start to fi nish, winning by two goals, but it could have been far more had it not been for impressive Lincoln goalkeeper Tiernan Brooks.
The hosts had to be patient but fi nally got their breakthrough six minutes before half-time, Charlie Walford the man on target at just the right time.
