WORKINGTON maintained their promotion push with a hard earned victory in poor conditions.
Cole Lonsdale and Dave Symington both hit the woodwork while Ossett keeper Scott Moloney made two excellent saves to deny Brad Hubbold and Millenic Alli.
The breakthrough came on 41 minutes after a good run from Matty Clarke who fed top scorer Scott Allison.
Arriving at pace into the area he cleverly flicked the ball beyond Moloney.
