HASTINGS United stayed joint top of the Isthmian South East Division with a 4-0 win over Sittingbourne.
A hat-trick from Sam Adams and Ben Pope’s eighth goal in eight games completed a comfortable afternoon for the U’s.
Pope opened the scoring ten minutes in with a side-foot finish after the ball broke loose to him from a throw in on the right.
Adams doubled the lead nine minutes later as Sittingbourne goalkeeper Jordan Perrin could only palm the ball into his own net in windy condi- tions at Pilot Field.
