WHITBY Town’s fivematch winning run was ended by in-form Ashton United at the Towbar Express Stadium.
United had Crewe Alexandra loanee Billy Sass-Davies to thank, as his 81st-minute downward header cancelled out Brad Fewster’s early opener.
Former Middlesbrough striker Fewster broke the deadlock inside the first minute of the match, latching on to Matty Tymon’s through ball before rounding the goalkeeper and slotting into the empty net.
