THE players braved hailstorms and freezing rain to put on a highly-entertaining spectacle that saw Bideford triumph.
A young Mangotsfield side took the game to Bideford early on but Ryan Turner opened the scoring on 15 minutes as Ben Wood’s long throwin reached the far post, where Toby Down nodded it to the feet of Ryan for a tap-in.
Mangotsfield almost gained a goal back but George Niall was denied by super goalkeeping from Luke Kingston, and Bideford surged up the other end, where a cross reached Down who headed it into the path...
