AFTER four defeats in a row, Maidstone United finally gave their supporters something to smile about as the Stones won for the first time in nearly a month with a comfortable victory over Welling United.
Maidstone had the ball in the net on nine minutes but Ross Marshall was adjudged to have been in an offside position as he put the ball back into the six-yard box where Chiori Johnson accidentally turned the ball into the net.
