FLAG DENIES STAGS AFTER GREENS TAKE ADVANTAGE

WALTON CASUALS were left ruing the assistant referee’s flag in stoppage time as Tyrone Lewthwaite saw a possible winner ruled out as the ball had crossed the line at the end of a mad scramble.
Back to the start of the game and Hendon almost took the lead in the third minute when Shaun Lucien fed Joe White whose shot hit the foot of the post.
Former Hendon man Cole Brown almost opened the scoring for the Stags but he was denied by a brilliant save from Jonathan North.
