A LAST-GASP winner from Gary Gee gave Mossley a narrow away victory over BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One North West rivals Prescot Cables at the IP Truckparts Stadium.
Cables’ Lloyd Dean squandered the best chance of a quiet first half when he headed over from close range.
Both sides struggled to get a grip on the game thereafter as neither could conjure up a clear opening.
That was until Gee exploited a succession of defensive errors to fire past Ollie Taylor in the 86th minute.
