WESTERN LEAGUE
■ AN ULTRA-competitive title tussle has been brought to a halt by Covid-19.
Western League officials announced on Friday that all competition matches would be suspended for two weeks with a review taking place on Friday, March 27.
It is one of many leagues that has taken the decision to stop play because of the global pandemic.
With government officials and experts anticipating building up to a peak in mid-May or mid-June, there are fears the current season will not be finished.
