DEFICIT NOT AS BAD AS FEARED AT BEES

BARNET chairman Tony Kleanthous says the majority of the 60 jobs that were at risk last week have been saved by the Government.
The Bees chief laid off all non-playing staff last week following the suspension of the National League season to cut costs at the club which was losing £100,000-a-month this season in the hope of winning promotion back to the Football League.
“We originally thought that we would be losing up to 60 staff across the group,” said Kleanthous.
