CHAIRMAN Stuart Barker has been encouraged by the ‘high-profile’ response to the managerial vacancy at Blackfield & Langley.
Glenn Howes’ departure for AFC Totton has left a big hole to fill, but Barker believes there is reason for optimism. “We haven’t advertised the job yet, but a lot of people have seen the news and I’ve spoken to three or four already,” he said.
“Some are high-profile. One is an ex-pro who has also coached to a high standard with some big-name managers, Premier League managers.”
