MITCH Austin and his assistant Wayne Abbott have made a U-turn and returned to manage Rothwell Corinthians.
The former Kettering Town No.2 Austin told officials of the United Counties Premier Division club last month that he would be leaving alongside Abbott, the former Rushden & Higham United, at the end of the season.
There were six applications for the manager’s job but after officials held talks with Austin and Abbott, they decided to return, jointly sharing the hot seat this time round.
