Step 8-9 plan gives hope

AFTER fi nding a creative solution to complete this season, the Cheshire League now expect a similar scenario next term.
Chairman Rob Goodwin- Davey believes the prospect of beginning the new 2020-21 campaign on time is remote because of the on-going coronavirus pandemic and doubts when it will be safe for amateur teams to play again.
“There’s so much we don’t know, so much uncertainty,” Goodwin-Davey said. “That makes it a challenge to plan ahead, but I think we must consider all possibilities.”
